We were happy to step up to help community foodbank FoodCloud as they faced an unprecedented demand for food from people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Deliveries to the FoodCloud depot in Dublin took place weekly throughout 2020.

We sent 44.6 tonnes of surplus or out of spec produce to FoodCloud in 2020 which equated to 106,190 meals, saving the charities €133,800 in food bills and saving the atmosphere 142.7 tonnes of CO2 avoided.

With food waste being the third most effective and actionable item in the list of ways to prevent global warming, we are committed to zero food waste status and we are committed, like FoodCloud, to ensuring that no good food goes to waste.
