Blueberries with Greek Yogurt and Granola

Blueberries are thought to be effective in keeping the brain function healthy, but the recommended daily amount of blueberries required to make a difference is 3 servings.

This recipe will help get you started every day with your blueberry consumption.  We have chosen Greek yogurt is a healthier option than traditional yogurts because it is strained, causing it to be lower in sugar and carbohydrates, and higher in protein and calcium.

For a single serving:

  • 75g blueberries

  • 170g Greek yogurt

  • granola - as little or as much as you wish

  • Optional:

  • a couple mint leaves for garnish

  • raspberries or strawberries to go with the blueberries

  • The picture says it all - just layer your fruit, yogurt and granola to your taste, and garnish with a couple of mint leaves.
