NOTE: The picture left has quite large cut florets and very little dressing on it. If you like your dressing, don't be afraid to lash it on.
Ingredients
3 heads of fresh broccoli, cut into small bite size pieces by removing all the stems so that only the floret at the very end remains
1 small red onion, chopped
200g of shredded cheddar cheese
250g streaky bacon, fried and chopped
(raisins optional)
Dressing: (amounts can vary- make according to your taste)
250 ml light mayonnaise
3 tablespoons of sugar
3 tablespoons of white distilled vinegar
Preparation
Combine the first 4 ingredients together and mix well.
To make the dressing, combine all the dressing ingredients and mix well. You can add more/less mayo, sugar or vinegar depending on your taste. Add as much or as little dressing as suits your taste.
Chill in the fridge for an hour or two before serving, if possible, for maximum crunch.
