Making wedges that are healthy, crispy, tasty, not too greasy but not too dry can be tricky.  Unless of course you have the perfect potato for wedges (our Irish Gold variety has skin that is ideal) and a Slimming World fan like Viv!

One of our favourite sources of healthy, easy recipes that are full of flavour is vivs_home_cooking aka Viviane McCarthy.  Along with her daughters (known through their Cooking with Midnight Fire site), she spends a lot of time in the kitchen perfecting amazing recipes and finding ways to use her airfryer to make healthy food to feed her family and share with her Slimming World friends.

All of our foodie friends rave about these wedges so we invite you to pair them with steak and have a truly tasty, easy-to-rustle-up, guilt-free chip experience! 



Potato Wedges.JPG


  • Irish Gold potatoes or any potato of your preference

  • Rapeseed spray oil (Viv recommends Sussd)

  • Your preferred seasonings, i.e. salt, pepper, garlic, chili, etc.


  1. Cut potatoes into wedges, leaving skins on

  2. Spread out on plate and microwave for 4 minutes.

  3. Pat dry with a paper towel.

  4. Spray oil as desired and season to taste.

  5. Cook in airfyrer for approx. 15 minutes, shaking 2 or 3 times to ensure they get evenly crisped.
