JOB VACANCY: COMMERCIAL/ ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT


The role of the Commercial/ Administrative Assistant will prepare reports and provide accurate feedback to the team on sales, stock levels, purchase orders and provide administrative support to the Procurement and Sales team.


Key Duties & Responsibilities


  • Provide administrative support and assistance to the Procurement and Sales team

  • Work closely with the team to ensure a smooth and effective supply chain

  • To ensure stock levels are kept in line with business targets

  • Support the Procurement and Sales team in generating purchases/ sales orders on a daily basis

  • Review incoming orders and deliveries

  • Prepare/conduct sales analysis and market research

  • Coordinate and maintain freight contracts to ensure continuity of supply

  • Ensure stock counts are performed and reconciled

  • Ensure smooth and efficient operations at all times

  • All reports and tasks are to be completed to agreed timescales and deadlines

  • Ad-hoc duties as directed by Management

Desired Skills and Experience


  • Bachelor’s ordinary/honours degree in Business /or Agri Food Business /or a similar discipline

  • Experience in a similar role would be an advantage

  • Accuracy and attention to detail skills

  • Strong financial skills and ability

  • Strong level of competency and confidence in using IT systems, including the Microsoft Office programs and capacity to learn new programs quickly

  • Experience in the FMCG sector would be desirable

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Excellent written & oral communications skills

  • Fast Learner
