Meade Farm Group, an award-winning Fresh Produce Company who operate from their state-of-the-art family farm in Co. Meath, are now recruiting for a Farm Operative to join their team to start with immediate effect.
Job Role & Responsibilities
Full clean drivers licence.
Competent to operate several different types of farm machinery and tasks such as, tractors, teleporters, forklifts, ploughing, harrowing, cultivating, fertilizing,
Assist in the general repair and maintenance of farm machinery, equipment and perform routine safety and mechanical checks.
Be available for flexible hours for peak seasonal times such as planting harvesting of crops.
Assist in feeding our livestock and clean and disinfect pens and yards, moving cattle to different farms for grazing. Examine animals to detect symptoms of illness or injury.
Maintain communications with Farm Manager and other employees, always having a can-do positive attitude.
Completing ad hoc duties as directed by the Farm Manager.
