Salad season is here and what better way to enliven a salad that by sweetening it up with some berries? In addition to garnishing it with some blueberries or raspberries, you can make a berry vinaigrette that is just the right blend of sour and sweet to leave your taste buds buzzing.
The recipe below will give you some extra to put in the fridge.
• 120 ml olive oil
• 4 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
• 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
• 1 1/2 tsp salt
• Pinch of pepper
• 150g berries of your choice (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, or raspberries)
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until well combined.
